The Horse Protection Society of BC is very happy to offer Equine First Aid courses, with Instructor (and Director) Tammy Nicol.
To become a Certified Instructor, Tammy had to meet strict
Equi-Health Canada requirements. Before being accepted into the program she took a 2-hour written exam, and then completed a total of 40 hours of training in a variety of first aid scenarios.
Tammy is now offering 1-day Equine First Aid courses, with proceeds going to the Horse Protection Society.
Not only will courses be run at our HPS facility, Tammy will come to your group as well. This is a great opportunity for you to offer a vital program to your members, and to raise funds for your group at the same time.
