Happy left us on the morning of August 31, 2011. He was a very special horse, a proud Saddlebred, that inspired love in all who worked with him. Still showing at the age of 27, Happy always put out 110% for his rider. He taught countless people, young and mature, to ride and to have confidence....like him.

There is no way to express adequately what Happy meant to us all, he will be remembered forever. May your soul rest in peace, my friend.

William (Bill) Pate aged 66 years, passed away at his home in Langley July 10, 2011. Bill attended K-State and graduated with an English degree which developed into a 20+ teaching career in the British Columbia school system. As an accomplished horseman Bill's second career as horse drawn carriage operator in Vancouver was a natural transition. His poetry was an outlet for his creative side and he often wrote poems for his loved ones to convey his thoughts.

Our sweet little Emily left us on July 11 in the wee hours of the morning. She was a very special little pug who overcame a difficult beginning to become a quiet favorite here on the farm. She gave us joy for many years, and she left us with Ralph as her legacy. Emily will be sorely missed but always with us in our hearts. May your soul rest in peace, Emily. We love you.

With fond memories we are saddened by the sudden passing of our friend Gunner.  He passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011 of unknown causes. Gunner was an easy going guy with a big heart.  He was the horse that took you out and always brought you home.  We will all miss him.  All our love to Linda and Jack for sharing such a wonderful horse with all of us.
