The Vernon Animal Auxiliary Thrift Store
HPS is proud to be a part of this wonderful new venture. Gena and Dale have worked tirelessly, with a fabulous host of volunteers, to open this store in Vernon. Money raised will go to help animals in need in BC. 2017 and 2018 saw many fires throughout the province. It looks like 2019 will see floods and landslides. Dale and Gena are trained first responders who have risked their own personal property, not to mention their lives at times, to rescue animals in dire straits. There are so many animals that will be in need of assistance this year and ongoingly; this fund is being built to help with these awful and terrifying situations.
