Willow

Willow is a Morgan cross mare born around 2003. She came to us from the Interior after her owner received a serious head injury (not from Willow)  and was no longer able to care for her and her young companion. Her companion found a home immediately but Willow needed some care and TLC.

Willow is with us today since it is very difficult to place older horses due to seriously rising costs. She has found volunteers who love to spend time with her and she is enjoying her lessons with Tabatha; not to mention time spent in pasture eating grass!

Unfortunately, Willow has some special needs. She is allergic to bug bites and needs to be sprayed with a steroid infused fly spray and keep a fly sheet on for the summer months.
