OUR HORSES

Sometimes we have a horse available for adoption, maybe a youngster just started under saddle, or even a mature working horse. Adoption fees vary, and they are used to recover some of the costs of having cared for your adopted horse.

We are also looking for supporters or "champions" to commit to helping with the cost of feeding, worming, farriers and sometimes vets for our program and project horses who are not ready or able to be adopted.

For a monthly, or annual tax deductible donation you can visit your horse, or receive updates on the horse you sponsor. Some of these horses stay with us and are used in horsemanship and awareness programs, some are only here while we take the time they need to see that they are useful, sound and adoptable.

We're On the Move Again

This time to our forever home

We're moving to Greendale (near Yarrow) this August. This will be our last move and we couldn't be happier. We'll be serving a new community, and we hope to see our friends and supporters from Langley and surrounding areas as well.

The Thrift Barn will be closed as of August 1. We will re-open as soon as we can. Watch for our sandwich board on Keith Wilson Road, and for updates on Facebook.

We Welcome Our Latest Fundraising Opportunity

Donate Your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Horse Protection Society of BC. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Horse Protection Society of BC  through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Horse Protection Society of BC to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please check out our page under "Support HPS"
