MAGNET

We are pleased to welcome Magnet to the "herd" here at HPS. Magnet is not only the best, best friend of Claire but also acts as her eyes. Although he is turning 30 in 2017 Magnet is sound and spry and is being exercised by some of our smaller riders.

Magnet is a Morgan cross gelding with lots of experience and training, both in the ring and on the trail. Since the tragic loss of his owner, Magnet became a bit more sedentary so he needed some time and slow work to get him back in form....but he was totally up for it! You can't keep a Morgan down, and he is quick to give his riders some attitude despite his years.

Magnet is also a favorite of the seniors, I think he identifies with them as he is now around 90 in people years himself.

We're On the Move Again

This time to our forever home

We're moving to Greendale (near Yarrow) this August. This will be our last move and we couldn't be happier. We'll be serving a new community, and we hope to see our friends and supporters from Langley and surrounding areas as well.

The Thrift Barn will be closed as of August 1. We will re-open as soon as we can. Watch for our sandwich board on Keith Wilson Road, and for updates on Facebook.

We Welcome Our Latest Fundraising Opportunity

Donate Your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Horse Protection Society of BC. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Horse Protection Society of BC  through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Horse Protection Society of BC to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please check out our page under "Support HPS"
